What is the Go City San Diego Explorer Pass?

This Explorer Pass allows you to pick 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7 attractions and experiences from over 40 choices. Passes expire after 60 days of your first attraction visit. You will receive a guidebook with attraction information after purchase.

How can I activate my pass?

Your San Diego City Pass will activate when you scan it at your first attraction.

Are other people allowed to use my pass?

No, sorry. Passes cannot be resold or used by more than one person.

When will my pass expire?

You'll have 60 days from the initial use to visit your remaining attractions. Unused Explorer Passes remain valid for up to two years from the purchase date.

Is it possible to visit the same attraction more than once?

You can only visit each attraction once during the card's validity period.

What happens if I don’t utilize all of my admissions?

Once activated, the card becomes non-refundable. No partial refunds are available for unused admissions, and Go City assumes no responsibility for traffic conditions, attraction-capacity constraints, weather-related closings, or unforeseeable circumstances.

What happens if an attraction shuts down or a tour gets canceled due to weather or any other unforeseen issue?

While Go City strives to ensure availability of all attractions, unforeseen events can occur. What's amazing about the San Diego Explorer Pass is that it boasts plenty of other options. Should an attraction be inaccessible, your guidebook offers exciting alternatives to ensure an enjoyable experience.

Do some attractions close on holidays?

Yes, many attractions are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day. Check your guidebook for holiday hours and closures.

Are reservations required to visit the attractions?

Some attractions may require reservations. Check your guidebook beforehand to see which ones need to be booked in advance. When making reservations, ensure your pass is valid on the day of your visit.
