Accessibility is limited due to the ship's original military design. Guests using wheelchairs or walkers can access the Main Deck exterior and a few interior areas via lifts, including the Captain's Cabin and select exhibit spaces. Most of the ship's decks require navigating narrow passageways, stairs, and raised door frames ("knee knockers") that are not wheelchair-friendly. Entry ramps can also be steep depending on tide levels, so visiting during low or mid-tide is recommended for easier access.
